Privacy notice

QuickTap displays the business information supplied for a published business page. Names, contact details, photographs, opening hours and links included in that page are public. Private customer notes, payment records and staff information are accessible only to authorized QuickTap staff.

We count page views and link clicks to help businesses understand approximate activity. These counts do not identify unique visitors or verify physical NFC taps. The application does not use persistent visitor identifiers, persist raw IP addresses in analytics, or retain full referring URLs. Short-lived hashed network identifiers help limit abuse and expire after a few minutes.

Raw activity events are retained for approximately 90 days, then removed after daily totals are calculated. Published page versions and their photographs are retained to support restoration. Unused uploads are eligible for deletion after seven days.

QuickTap uses Supabase for database, authentication and private file storage, and Vercel for hosting. These infrastructure providers may process technical request information to operate and protect the service. Authorized staff use authentication cookies to access the workspace.

To correct public business details, discuss removal of information, or ask a privacy question, contact QuickTap. Business contact details saved to your phone through Add to contacts are handled by your device’s Contacts application after you confirm the import.
